Non-stick PropertiesPolytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE/Teflon) has one of the lowest surface free energies among all solid materials, making it difficult for oil-based liquids to spread or adhere to its surface. Even if oil sticks, it can be easily removed.

Chemical InertiaPTFE exhibits strong chemical inertness and hardly reacts with any chemicals (including acids, alkalis, various organic solvents, etc.). Therefore, edible oils, industrial oils, and other substances are unlikely to cause chemical corrosion.

Beware of Extreme Chemical AttackPTFE is resistant to strong acids and alkalis, but it may still be affected under certain extreme conditions (such as contact with molten alkali metals or certain fluorinating reagents at high temperature and pressure).
